I was approached by a young couple who owned a beautiful Craftsman home in the Jefferson Park HPOZ area. They needed to add a bedroom and a bathroom to accommodate their growing family and the idea was to add this in the form of a new master suite at the rear of the house. In creating this new space we also remodeled the kitchen and breakfast area and reconfigured an existing outdoor patio area.

We developed the floor plans together and then when the clients were happy with the design I presented the plans to the HPOZ board for approval. The Planning Department were happy with the plans enough so that they decided to show case them on the Planning Department website as a "Successful Project" for future designers to use as a reference for their own presentations.
